One Cap wonders...

People who were given a chance and youd like to see them come back.... (I did this thread so i could personally talk about Sidebottom)

Personally, and with a fair amount of bias, Id like too see Ryan Siebottom get a call up, maybe just to the limited overs team. Has a fantastic economy rate, will take a lot of maidens, Plays with more passion than any other cricketer I have ever seen, and of course, has great hair

Blackwell?

Kidding, kidding. :p

Ryan's old man Arnie is a member of the one-cap wonder club too. We genrally tend to have a longer look than just the one game now (unless they're replacement selections like Backwell & Shah were), so I would imagine OCWs will become something of a dying breed.

Shah might add to his one cap, I sincerely hope Blackwell doesn't.

Hopefully this guy will make something of himself yet.
It certainly seems strange to me that with a first class record like he has, he's basically been picked as a specialist batsmen. His record indicates that he's a bowling allrounder, but in his test debut Marlon Samuels bowled significantly more overs than him. In his ODI debut, he was named at #9 but then didn't bat, and then watched in the field as Wavell Hinds, Ryan Powell, Ramnaresh Sarwan and eventually even Brian Lara bowled before him.

For his one test appearance Stuart Law was great. Got a 50 and that was all we ever saw of him
