How about England vs. West Indies in the ICC Champion's Trophy

8/147 chasing 217, West Indies never should have won it, England really did **** up that one.

What does that tell you? They lack backup!

The key to that was ashley giles not bowling. England kept with wharf who'd bowled crap throughout the tournament and although collingwood bowled 10 good overs, giles should have bowled

<Tom> Do you have role models you try and live up to?

<Cameron> Role models, not as such. I try to base my self on someone like .. Ian Botham i.e. I come in late in the game and try and belt as many runs as I can. I also try to help in the bowling department. Really, I try to live up to my dad. He always belts me with a burlap sack full of reeds saying "WHY! WHY DIDN'T YOU WIN!" I tell him it wasn't my fault, it was the middle order but he won't listen ... he just keeps hitting ...

If it goes back to DD, it's a big blunder. Their coverage of domestic series is pathetic. On the other hand, Ten is just showing reruns of stuff not too many would want to watch. Hopefully they'll get the rights to show cricket in India, international and domestic.

I completely, and totally, disagree. Yes, it's easy to say with hindsight that Giles should have bowled - but which overs, and instead of who?

Probably a mixture of wharf's and collingwood's overs. Mind you, in hindsight, anything would have been better.
