when we use to play cricket in the street back in the days the boundry line was near the old ladie's house when ever we use to hit a six the ball use to hit the window or get inside the house unfortunately we had only one ball so we have to ask the old ladie to offer as back the ball. but fortuantely she did'nt and we use to call her the stinky old ladie because she wasn't giving as the ball back

We never had a neighbour like that apart from the house in front of us just kept our balls and used them in their game

we only had one neighbour who's house wed ever hit it in. luckily she was a nice old lady who let us just walk into the backyard or front yard even when she wasnt there and just get the ball.

andyc people in sydney are way different then people in usa. here people specially the old one's sleep's day night they dont work though because they get 1000 dollar check every month for being disable(old).one day we were playing in the street and the old ladie was sleeping i bowled a bouncer and edged to the wicket keeper and the batsmen wasn't agreeing to umpire's decision. So we argue for about couple of minutes and we woke the old ladie up with our depth voice' she almost called the cops on us but we manage to get away.

haha that's just because they don't appreciate the gentlemanly, indeed almost poetic, sport of cricket.. i say argue all you want, regardless of the neighbours.
after all, the professionals do it :D
