Get on the transfer market and buy cheap (as in £1000-£20000, that sort of range) solid players - ones that have a batting or bowling skill of at least mediocre, the concentration/consistency (so if they're a mediocre batsman, the concentration is what you're looking at) that goes with it at least feeble, with at least feeble stamina.

You can be a bit more flexible if the batting or bowling are better than mediocre, for instance:

After a quick glance Pinnock and Thikhathali are the only players you can't replace with someone better for practically nothing. You should aim to get 2-5 17yos you can train.

I would have you best batsmen opening, lower stamina players down the order. Battrick tends to be fairly extreme when it comes to dealing with different levels of player - your best batsmen will average way more and score a lot faster than your weaker ones (look at your league averages to see what I mean).
