Cheers. With my net sessions, when will my players be affected?

Also, it`d be tops if I could play a friendly with someone as inexperienced as myself.
Training updates happen on Monday. Then you've got the rest of the week to do nothing until Friday, when you have league games. Then on Saturday you get financial updates, when you can also promote a player from your youth academy, and then on Sunday you play friendlies.

Cheers Nadster. Anyone up for a n00b friendly tomorrow then?
Most people will have probably already arranged one for tomorrow. What's your team like though? Given that players are going to be getting one year older in a few weeks, you'll probably be able to pick up some youngsters off the transfer market pretty cheaply.

Marc's team isn't a 'n00b' team though.

I would do it by reversing my batting order/bowlers but I've already got a friendly arranged.

EDIT: And I almost LOL'd at this guy's name >> http://www.battrick.org/nl/playerDetails.asp?playerID=52360

Haha, classic name.

I wonder, whats in a name? A lot the top, memorable players have 'solid' names, oddly enough. Hard to explain, but they're easier to remember than players like Smith etc (I guess it's jsut the common last name thing).

You've got a few good players in there and a few crap ones. Look on the transfer market for the following:

Some 17 y/o mediocre bowl or bats with about feeble stamina under 10k to train into decent players in the future. But given that everyone will age a year soon, you may want to hold off.

Competent batsmen and bowlers with at least mediocre stamina. I'd say you'd need another 3 comp bats and 2 comp bowlers.

Phillips would probably be a better choice for a keeper.

I listed this player earlier:
http://www.battrick.org/nl/playerDetails.asp?playerID=296037

Would be a decent cluth player for your side.

Be careful on buying players though. Don't get too far into debt. Basically, with hiring coaches and PR people this week, you wouldn't want to spend more than 100k in total on temporary players.

Have a look at the following players:

Haha wow. Thanks all for your advice. :) Just wondering how much to sell players for?

EDIT: In fact, how much should I buy players for? I looked at Scaly`s thing, but it didn`t make much sense. How much should I purchase the first player on Greg`s list for example?

I usually just put them out there for 0. If people want them bad enough the bidding on them will go up. You and I Nath are hardly at the place where we can dictate the minimum amount for players, unfortunately :(

What about the purchase of players Geg? Thanks a bunch by the way, it`s all a bit hard for me to get my head around, I suck at these sort of things (see Batracer).

Well, when I started out I set myself a limits on players (like 10k on certain med/med players and 20k on competents or something).

Whats your MSN? Probably best to discuss it on there, as with a lot of Battrick things.
