2nd Test, Lord's, London

I got the feeling that Smith started batting aggressively against Archer because he feels that as Australia's best batsman it's his responsibility to stamp his authority on the guy who hit him. Don't want the dressing room to get the willies because Archer scares Smith.

It's a bit of a macho thing more than anything else.
Uh Huh, no spaniard culture here

Why did Bairstow just hug the umpire?

Very fun session. Time looks like the enemy of the game but with both sides having extremely fragile batting lineups (and Australia now probably without Smith) it's interesting to see how this game progresses. Are England prepared to lose to win?
It looked like they were laughing about the earlier review.
