Yeah hopefully Haze can do that Harris/Siddle role of getting the good players out so MJ can just rip through the guys who aren't quite up to it / the tail.

Rashid's name is not a noun, verb, adjective or inappropriate sexual reference so I don't think he fits in this side. Root though..3 out of 4.

If everyone could use pictograms in place of English players' names this series that would be nice.

Not sure who they advocated dropping but it didn't make sense to me.

Nah, it'd be Ballance I assume.

    1. Cook
    2. Lyth
    3. Bell
    4. Root
    5. Stokes
    6. Moeen
    7. Buttler
    8. Rashid
    9. Broad
    10. Wood
    11. Anderson

But seriously, who the **** are we, NSW?

2 wickets with the new ball and your 1 shy of the tail. I approve this lineup.

Taking Ballance out of the team takes the balance out of the team.

Ali and Stokes would seriously have to stand up with the bat.

Classing Buttler as part of the tail is a stretch. He's a quality batsman.

    But apart from him.... ya.

Buttler has just as much to prove as Stokes or Moeen whatever their batting averages say. It's still well too early to determine if Buttler is a quality test batsman. If two of them are tail the other is also or vice versa.

I don't for a minute expect england to select that team anyway. Much more likely to just not play either Wood, Broad or Stokes if they play two spinners (which is a long shot anyway).

If they do play that team they are screwed because the batting won't be strong enough and it would suggest that they have no confidence in the batting of Ballance- so won't be able to bring him back for later tests with any confidence.

Can't see England going with a different XI than the one that played at Headingly vs New Zealand, let alone starting two spinners.

Anderson was so Stoked upon finAli finding a Broad who was a potential Root that his Wood threatened to rip apart his Bell bottoms and so his Buttler and Cook had to help him Finnish.

Harris is injured and he has to pass fitness test before to be selected in playing 11. He has very good record against England and Australia want to play him in first test but for this he has to clear fitness test. So most probably Johnson, Starc and Hazlewood will play the match as fast bowlers for Australia.

Lyth and Rashid are obviously hard but I reckon you could've found a way to get Ballance into that sentence. 7/10.

You need to be faster than this if you want to bring cricket-related news to cw members.
