BBC get Ashes highlights!

Brilliant news. Can't wait to find out who they're going to get to commentate, assuming it's not just going to be the TMS guys. :)

Great news. Will be nice to see cricket on TV for a change. Picture quality for broadband Internet streams is still not what it should be. And I don't need to pay insane amounts of money to watch the BBC.

"Here comes Lee, isn't he lovely?"

They might just use the Aussie feed for highlights, which I think is O Rly?, Taylor et al IIRC.

Daily Mail reported yesterday that it was a 1.5 million deal with Sky. So make of that what you will.

Highlights?? Is that all??
Well BBC never show live away series. Sky have shown every England away series(apart from the Zim ODers a couple of years back) L&E since the WI tour in 1990 IIRC. Usually there aren't any terrestial highlights of overseas tours, with the exception of Channel 4 showing a couple of tours around the turn of the millenium.
