South Africa and West Indies, both the teams coming back from a loss in their opening games of the Super 12 stage. They now clash head to head to discover momentum in the competition as of now South Africa is edging out as favorites to win this contest against West Indies on Tuesday.

South Africa's Trouble

But South Africa has its troubles trying to cope up with the replacement of Dale Steyn, AB De Villiers, and Faf Du Plessis.

Much will depend on Quinton De Kock to give his side a blistering start and expect David Miller to come down the order to score some vital runs at the death overs.

Sloppy West Indies

Giving it a go whatever it comes along the way without fearing the criticism was the ideology that West Indies had against the game with England. Hopefully, the men from the Caribbean need to adjust their strategy while going into this game and will tentatively improve their scoring.

One of the positives was Kieron Pollard made the English batsman earn their runs a hard way rather than gifting things.

We can expect all guns blazing from both the teams in this match who desire to go deeper down in this tournament.

QdK has made himself unavailable for ‘personal reasons’ is the toss news.

Fancy the Windies to get one back here.

Comms have said it’s to do with it but it sounds a bit like guessing at this stage.
Before the AUS match, only a few of the players took the knee - Rabada, Maharaj, Shamazi, Rassie. Some others raised a fist. Apparently some of the white players who did nothing objected on religious grounds.

It's a bad look, especially with the coach's problematic history on racism. Some of his former teammates are pretty much openly dismissive of supporting BLM (Dippenaar, for example).

Saffas looking sharp in the field so far.

Gayle should obvs be opening. If he’s not good enough to play with the field in any more then he shouldn’t be in the side at all.

Had never heard of using religion as an excuse before, shouldn’t be surprised like.

Was Markram always a handy offie? Clearly doing a Moeen role here (or Root back in 2016!) It's helpful for SA to have a sixth option as Pretorius seems neither one thing nor the other in this side.

I think we know what Pommie is thinking. I understand the BLM movement and it's importance in South Africa as well. But when a person cites religion as a reason to not do something I don't know how you actually dispute what's inherently their belief (whether it's right or wrong). QDK should show support to his black teammates though. I agree with that.

****ing great shot from Lewis. Did really well to hold his nerve with a Rabada full toss coming at him waist high
