Damn. No trip to Belfast for me. I am in the UK from 1 August.

I grew up in the 90s, and sadly in my mind Belfast will always be like this. Of course I know this is a stereotype - I've never been to Ireland and to visit for a cricket match would have been ideal.

This test should be fun.

Not sure if this is the right thread for Netherlands v Ireland but I had to note that in a one-run loss in the latest T20I, Tim Pringle bowled the first and last over (and the 9th and 12th, for symmetry's sake), for 3 wickets, before slapping 35* (13) in vain.

Meanwhile, van Beek has been run out in consecutive matches.
