Exclusion of Akhtar and Asif leave Pakistan bowling department the weakest among the eight major teams.Sami's inclusion is going to boost mrale of opponents, including the minnows.Pakistan have just 5 specialist bowlers in Anjum,Rana,Gul,Danish and Sami, of which 2 in Danish and Sami completely crap.Rest of the bowling will depend on bits and pieces players like Malik,Azhar ,Hafeez and Arafat who can both bat and bowl a little bit.Afridi though is a useful spinner in ODI.

I think if Pak bat second, then most of time they will be chasing 325-350 + score, don't see any hope for my nice neighbours.

Shabbir is unfit, so he couldn't made it.

Sami was included on a personal request of Indian star Sehwaq, the best chance of Sehwag of finding his form is by facing the Pakistani legend Sami.

u r funny man. in ur last post u forgot to include rana and anjum in that list. they are both worse than kuneria and sami.

They are most certainly not worse than Sami... and I don't think Anjum is worse than Kaneria either...

If that is the case then we will see in Wc 2007 the worst ever bowling attack in action, a complete laughing stock, as whoever is worse then Kaneria and Sami got to be a laughing stock.

Is hard to pass judgement on Rana, he sometimes bowls good but sometimes is just terrible.Anjum is a medicre pacer who just try to dry up the runs by sticking to steady line and length.

I think its pretty evident that Asif and Akthar have failed in the dope test, and its ridiculous how they are making such lame excuses to hide the truth.
Anyways when Asif could manage to play in the odi's in South Africa with "his so called elbow injury", then its hard to digest how he can't manage to play in the world cup with the same elbow problems.

Farewell Akhtar IMO. He's not going to make it to another world cup. He showed potential to be a very destructive very quick bowler and fulfilled that but so far his whole career has been barred by drugs, scandal and his lack of team effort.
