Cricketer Of The Year
Didn’t you have Weekes as the best batsman ever after Bradman?
If I have to compare, I now have him number 4 after Steve Smith and Sobers.

Thing is I'm getting more and more skeptical of such far separated eras comparisons. There's a lot less we "know" about how different cricket played and felt in the distant past, that we can just extrapolate to catch all quality comparisons.

International Captain
And that is rather a neat feat ( just like Marshall's consistency in different conditions ), but it's analysis by checklist, which I hate because there's so much we read into it that's not there. A big part of it is simply luck.
Agree with that actually. Still pretty underrated tho. I know there’s many people on here that love analysis by checklist which he passes pretty well
