The first one depends on the team. If it's the Indian team, or any team that can play spin decent/well, I'm taking Gavaskar. Against a team poor vs spin, I'm taking Sehwag.

I think there is a higher likelihood that Sehwag holes out going for one too many.

Yeah. Gavaskar would survive but I want the others to do so too with him.
Sehwag would get out ofc earlier on avg. But for a weaker team, I need one guy to win it, and win it quickly. That's Sehwag

Gavaskar. If I don't know anything, I'm taking Gavaskar over anyone tbh, even Lara. The guy avged over 100 vs spin! and that last inns vs Pak is probably the best I've seen on such a pitch vs spin, ever!

Barring Bradman ofc. But this is probably one metric where some other batsman gets somewhat close to him
