It surely was in the mid to late 90s, an odi.

I believe New Zealand were chasing and Cairns hit 70 odd and another player also hit 70 odd.

Does anyone have the scorecard of this match?

Found it, 9 Jan 98, NZ chasing 301 after falling 90 off for five and a great fightback by Cairns, Parore, Nash.

I'm sure there is a similar match were Cairns done the same thing again.

Cairns was a Klusenar back then.

Whatever it takes!!!
Parore's knock from that game is an underrated gem IMHO. He was ****ing scoring faster than Cairns and took literally all the pressure off Cairns.

I'm sure another time cairns and another player did the same, do you remember what match that was? I'm sure Jedeja and another Indian player did something similar back in 97 too.
