I discussed this a little ago, but it's Viv Richards

WSC is included
Viv Richards in Australia minus Sydney: 2,245 runs @ 59, 7 hundreds.
Viv Richards in Sydney: 493 runs @ 32, 1 hundred.

Sachin Tendulkar in Sydney: 785 runs @ 157, 3 hundreds.
Sachin Tendulkar in Australia minus Sydney: 1,024 runs @ 35, 3 hundreds
So the obvious choice is Tendulkar in Sydney and Richards outside Sydney. But if you consider the challenge of playing in Australia to be batting on fast, bouncy wickets, That would be Viv as he's just better suited against fast bowling.

Don't really have a dog on those fight but I'll say this. In my lifetime, there hasn't been a tougher Australian bowling attack than the one Viv and the English faced in the middle 70s comprising of pre injury Thomson, Lillee, Gilmour and Mallet. Yes McWarne and Gillespie were greater but that attack at that time was something else with the speed, hostility, the crowd, unlimited bouncers, no helmets, big grounds etc Viv faced that and though he only averaged 39, it made him the player he'd become.

Tendulkar

Viv was lucky that he never had to front up to Lee, Tait and Johnson that too without wearing a helmet. If he did, he would have pooped his pants
