Viv should be compared to lower tier ATGs like Sachin and Chappell, Marshall is out of their league.

Viv is clearly top tier. If you want to present otherwise, best to give your case rather than assume it's an agreed upon fact.

Maco was below Bradman as a batsman, Garry as an all rounder, but that's basically it for me.

During his career, he was more important to the WI than even Vivian was.

So the other two I referenced apart, skill and impact wise, it's him and Hobbs and that's why I have them 3 and 4 all time.

The hair that I have Sachin over Viv, I also have Marshall over Sachin.

Objectively untrue. He was a top pacer among several pacers.

Viv was the trendsetter, talisman, the best bat in the world, had epic contributions in all the WI greatest series victories of Eng 76, Aus 79, Pak 1980, Eng 81 and then as captain continued Lloyd's legacy and kept WI unbeaten till the end.

I don't know about objectivity but Viv quite literally was the face of Windies' golden age wasn't he? I doubt even Lara ever scaled those heights.
