Lara might have more array of shots and better footwork. Richards should have a lot of limitations, but none acted as a limitation due to his stroke play.

That's why I voted Lara. He could create new strokes that were very effective.
Lara played my favorite shot of all time. Cant get better than this. Totally original.

Huh? Against Lara?
Lara had more strokes. Better placement. Probably equal on timing. Viv had more power though.

Don't know about the answer to this question, mostly because I don't really understand this:
What is a "stroke", in a cricket context? How does it differ from a "shot"? Once I am able to establish that, then I can maybe answer this question.
If this question is about which of the two is more aggressive, I think I'd go Viv on that one, especially at his peak.
