Victorian premier cricket

Hi,
I was just checking out the new player pathway model that crocket Victoria released and i had a question about senior premier cricket. Since there is now u18 and u16 premier team competitions, do you have to have been playing in these comps to play senior premier cricket.

I very much doubt it as that would completely exclude everyone who didn't play high level cricket as a junior. If it is the case then i would highly recommend the other Australian states follow as it might give us a chance in future away Ashes'.
