He absolutely killed it in the Minor League Cricket tournament during the summer. I think he was leading the batting charts. 612 runs including a 132 off 69 balls.

He becomes the first-ever Indian male to sign a BBL contract.

He was always seen as a bright talent, but I am not sure he will get many gigs at the BBL as an overseas player. Good luck to him though.

I used to play with a guy who's in the New Jersey Stallions now. Was a pretty tidy left arm spinner, I see he's taken 21 wickets at an ER of <6 in that comp.

BBL teams tend to play their overseas players regardless of ability (see Paul, Keemo and Jacks, Will).

While I thought he had potential as a kid, it says a lot about the BBL that he can get a gig as an overseas player.

Hopefully he kicks on and we poach him New Zealand style.
