Ken McEwan
Emmeron Trotman [West Indian]

*Border were promoted to the big time again. The union would always lose their top players to EP or WP like Tony Greig, Ken McEwan, Kenny Watson, Daryll Cullinan but McEwan and Watson were back to finish their careers. They also got Peter Kirsten to come from WP which probably was to do with age.
* Otis Gibson joined Border the following season.

Bruce McBride (wk)
Richard Snell
Steven Jack
Clive Eksteen

NORTHERN TRANSVAAL

Mike Haysman (vc) [Australian]
Mike Rindel

Wonderful list... but please can we avoid the gold yellowish colours, almost unreadable and makes my eyes hurt.

Wonderful stuff as always SeamUp. It's amazing that big Franklyn Stephenson was still playing in 92

Was still playing for another 4 years after... Possibly the best player not to have played international cricket. Either him or big Vince vd Bijl...

Agreed. Did you guys ever get the chance to see him strutting his stuff at the domestic level in RSA.

Oh yes. Remember him in the Oranges. So rhythmical and that typical side-ways step at the crease to target into the batsman. Also very under-rated as a batsman. I have him down at number 6 there but I think he even batted 4/5 on the odd-occasion.
