McKenzie was quicker and a lot more productive on flat pitches, He was a very good flat pitch bowler, his record against England and West Indies isn't amazing but considering the level of batting he bowled to, It's more understandable. Alderman was much of a magician with the ball, great control of his movement, accurate, unplayable in England. If I've to go one, McKenzie ever so slightly but Alderman was the more valuable bowler for the Australians I reckon due to his away Ashes achievements.
