Kohli's series, no contest. The wickets were proper in the Australia tour, they were not in Kohli's South Africa tour.

Kohli definitely, the pitches were ridiculous. Could've been Sachin if the umpires weren't trash though. Got two howlers that series when he was batting superbly.

The MCG pitch on which Tendulkar got that great ton was pretty sporting IIRC, India just bowled rubbish so it looks like a flat deck from the scorecard.

Kohli got some real minefields though, especially Joburg where he got a 40 odd and a fifty. Getting double figures there was an achievement.

when I say proper I mean balanced/sporting, the ones in South Africa were a little too tailormade for their fast bowlers imo, not much different than what we saw in West Indies recently minus the pink ball extravaganza.
