Loved the intro (only just starting to watch the video itself).

Batsmen who complemented each other, mix of solid batsmen with aggressive ones who can add impetus to an innings.

A great all rounder and a keeper who can preferably bat.

Aggressive bowlers (fast and spin), and great slip fielders who would be needed to support them.

He even mentioned a strong captain who can handle great players, and possessed knowledge of the game and a winning record.

And if course I noted that he mentioned the need for great slip fielders to take the catches that the bowlers created. A major part of what's required for winning cricket.

I'll keep watching, but so far no reference to the bat deep sentiment that's rife on the forum.

The team is nothing special but two takeaways.

Think it was Subz who said it either about Miller or Botham that they're better suited at 7 or 8, and can't weaken the batting to place them higher.

Not sure where he's batting Botham there, depending on if Illingsworth is playing, but it's a thought.

Really enjoyed watching the clips of Knott keeping.

For me - top 5 bats and bowlers I’ve seen. (born 94, probably watched some cricket in the early 00’s but first proper memory was definitely some tests against NZ. Don’t remember which ones. Seems more likely to be one or both of the 04/05 ones than 01/02.

Smith
Kallis
Sangakkara
Ponting

McGrath
Steyn
Murali
Warne

Not necessarily in order. More like the ones I first thought of. Was too indecisive to name 5ths
