Should innings wins count double towards the series score line?

I've got a couple of better suggestions:

- Pick some bastmen
- Pick an actual spinner and an actual fast bowler rather than 4x RFM and part timer
and most importantly
- Don't fricking bowl first at the Oval

Tbh the bowl first strategy I don’t think was that disastrous. 100 lead first innings and really should have been much more. As I said in the match thread, throwing away the strong batting position is what cost us.

I blame @Red_Ink_Squid

Yeah, there's a lot of criticism about bowling first and it may well be justified without the benefit of hindsight but as played, England were in a dominating position before the beginning of the third innings that they'd have taken anytime over a random replay where they batted first from scratch.

The fielding was the primary killer IMO.

Hope you realise, despite the massive 4th innings collapse that England's 4th innings still outscored India's first by 19 runs. The toss is not a factor in England losing this game, only bat first fetishists will claim that. The pitch was dead the whole match. India imploded with the bat first innings. England imploded with the bat in both innings.

The fielding was the primary killer IMO.
That was a factor too. No bigger than the double failure with the bat though that's for sure.
