Pretty much all our bowlers except for Cummins ,aren't worth pursuing with over the long run. They are costing us nearly 50 runs/wicket, for the top 6 batsman.

We should have bowlers that cost atleast 30-40 runs for the top 6 batsman on average. Not near 50.

Dump the lot, except Cummins.

Bring in Boland, Fawad Ahmed, and Chris tremain into the squad.
Dont select Starc and Hazlewood, banish them to first class indefinitely. Over the long run we're just getting burned.

It's probably a lot easier to take wickets with reliable runs on the board than when you have to keep things dry. It's a pity he needs the spotlight and can't have a dignified retirement like border, Waugh, McGrath, ponting, other champions.
