That is match factor. Discount factor is irrelevant of the strength of your own team. Looking at both combined gives you a very good picture
Could you please tell me how dominant Underwood was on flat pitches compared to wet ones using whatever factor you want to use?

I told you I don't have data specific to that. What I can tell you is that over the course of their whole careers, the pitches Chandra bowled on weren't much tougher than what Underwood got

And ofc he was more deadly on wet wkts than flat ones, I'm not denying that. I'm saying that when you look overall, like take an avg of all pitches they played on, they're not that different

Chandra and Bedi would have had some pitches that were more spin friendly than others, not wet wkts, but still certainty spin friendly. You don't need to go into each pitch individually. Just overall how spin friendly were they on avg

No he isn't. Really Great India record and decent in Australia, but he was a big benefactor of Uncovered Home pitches and sucked in WI. Chandrashekhar is the underrated one. Very balanced record, especially for someone who was practically a high ceiling low floor player, capable of winning matches single handedly. 8 5-fers in Aus/Eng/WI/NZ and a pretty spotless record.
Think Chandrasekhar gets his dues here.

I feel Derek being comfortably ahead of Chandra is wrong. Feel when things went south he was a bit too defensive bowler reflected in his WPM, while Chandra had the capability of taking the pitch out and winning a game

Yeah… reading this thread it becomes abundantly clear plenty of people have no idea about pitch covering
