The "better" bowler is Kuldeep as should've been evident from even seven years ago. Jadeja's ability to winkle out big hauls relative to his ceiling is legendary however. India will be very happy if Kuldeep can manage that.

It's not too early, he's been around for seven years ffs. The problem as always is one of perception. He's never done anything to discredit himself in Tests. If anything, the bias against his style of bowling in ODIs - where, let's not forget, he had brilliant returns before his confidence took a dip post the WC in Eng - began to creep into the Test arena as well. Is he an improved version today? Hell yes, he's gone away and honed his craft in multiple areas. But the potential and performance relative to that has always been there.

Not really. Among the 3 votes Kuldeep got, Hh has stated Jadeja is better but Kuldeep has a higher potential so he voted for him; PC is no stranger to having hot takes and the 3rd vote is of Subs. He would had voted for Narendra Hirwani against Jadeja (probably Ashwin too).

everything that people rib Jadeja for like not always playing in unfavourable conditions or playing a greater proportion in more favourable conditions all apply to Kuldeep to a larger extent and the 1 main thing that certain people drool over with Kuldeep, a sena 5fer? Jadeja has that too against a much better batting lineup. Jadeja also has multiple series performances on pitches flatter than the recent England one too before anyone goes for the Kuldeep did well on not spinny pitches recently post

Chill out, nobody's ribbing Jadeja or calling KD better than him. It's not all about ***y spin variations vs underselling workmanlike left-arm orthodox either. But unless something goes terribly wrong with Kuldeep's action or fitness, he's on an upward trend and that can only be a good thing.

Chill out, nobody's ribbing Jadeja or calling KD better than him. It's not all about ***y spin variations vs underselling workmanlike left-arm orthodox either. But unless something goes terribly wrong with Kuldeep's action or fitness, he's on an upward trend and that can only be a good thing.

i dont disagree, Kuldeep should end up better than Jadeja long term if all goes well but its yet to happen and hence why i said its too early for this comparison

Kuldeep is more skillful.

'Better' is a relative word. On current form, Kuldeep is also a better bowler but Jadeja as a cricketer is well ahead.
