as overall players maybe but in primary discipline both Ashwin and Williamson are monsters at home and mediocre away so it's pretty consistent, if Williamson had an Ashwin level secondary discipline as an overall player he might be Dravid tier too.

Dravid sucked against quality bounce but he was so good against swing I'd take him over Ashwin btw
Dravid do have some absolutely Top tier performances away in THAT WI tour against Walsh, Ambrose and Bishop.

the 97 tour? yeah that was impressive, I rate him as an overall player of pace, it's just SA and Aus high speed bounce that I think he struggled with

Ashwin being a bit underrated away from home. Not in the very top tier away but averages under 25 outside of India since the 2014/15 BG series.

Since 2015, Ashwin has great away numbers everywhere except SA

Look at those stats. Regarding the "he gets dropped" thing, if you're being honest , you should probably admit that him being dropped isn't proof he sucks away from home, rather it's proof that the Indian team management are a bunch of dummies and are making a mistake. The numbers don't lie .
