Starc 17 matches 52 wkts Avg 30
Boult 17 matches 50 wkts Avg 31
Broad 21 matches 44 wkts Avg 38
Johnson 12 matches 33 wkts Avg 40
Morkel 18 matches 48 wkts Avg 30
Philander 10 matches 16 wkts Avg 38
Hazelwood 9 matches 16 wkts Avg 39

These stats suggest when you do not have confidence on any of the pacers to do well in Asian conditions, pick the one who bowls fast. Starc and Morkel being the standout ones and Boult

Hazelwood, Broad and Philander are actually worst in Asian pitches with not even 2 WPM. Johnson too leaked plenty of runs.

what this shows us is quicker guys witb natural swing are the most successful in Asia, that's why Trueman would've ripped asia apart etc

Yeah. Steyn, Anderson and Southee got pretty good numbers too as per the fast bowling standards in Asia.
