Pick the bowler ideally suited to dismiss these bats

Not looking for the best bowler, but pick a bowler not from that bats era who has the unique skillset to dismiss these bats.

ABD

Greg Chappell

Sobers

Steve Smith

Kallis

Joe Root

Gavaskar

Brian Statham, those off cutters would eventually get to De Villiers, he's prone to making silly mistakes and Statham wouldn't give him an inch.

Bill O Reilly. Chappell had his struggles with the accurate bowling of Derek Underwood, O Reilly would straight up eat him.

Sydney Barnes. Yeah this one ran me into the wall.

Shane Warne. Those flippers would be hard to get on top of with Smith's style.

Fred Trueman. a 95 mph inswinging yorker would do him in.

Curtly Ambrose. To get Root you need pace off the pitch and extra bounce, Ambrose is just that.

Allan Donald. An aggressive pacer who is always coming for you and doesn't give you room, like Lillee and Holding.

I agree with all of these though I think Steyn may be more effective than Donald given the outswinger.

Easier thing to do is look at the bowlers who troubled these guys the most and then pick similar bowlers from the past. I did not see GSC and Sobers so don't know about them but for the rest

ABD - Some one similar to Asif. Barnes perhaps
Smith - Bedi
Kallis - Lillee
Root - Ambrose

ABD - Hadlee. Better version of Asif.

Greg Chappell - struggled against pace and bounce of Garner. I'd say Rabada or Ambrose

Sobers - Muralitharan. Sobers bossed all types of bowling. Only thing he has not played was a spinner who is good and can turn it both ways.

Steve Smith - Pollock. He will keep attacking the stumps, and keep changing the pace. When Smith is late on one, it would be curtains.

Kallis - Underwood. Had trouble with spinners, and Underwood was one of the best.

Joe Root - Marshall. No need to describe.

Gavaskar - Almost all Indian batters struggle against inswing. So Shane Bond.

Murali is the worst option. He had trouble against good left hander players of spin with Lara, Fleming, Thorpe, Anwar.

ABD struggled vs inswing bowlers so Mat Henry is my Pick

Rabada

Aswin because he is nightmare for left hand batsman

Steve Smith struggled mainly vs wrist spinners so Anil Kumble is my pick

Ravindra Jadeja

Joe Root struggled vs aus trio, so McGrath is the best pick.

Jimmy Anderson is the nightmare of Indian top orders so he will dominate Gavaskar.
