It's this range-hitting thing that's sneaked into batting terminology. I'm sure they are implementing drills from other ball-sports behind the scenes. Pretty cool tbh.

Does Iyer still bowl and is he still in the reckoning for India? Seemed like a genuine alternative to Pandya a couple of years ago.

Wasn't bowling fit the last couple of years. Declared his fitness and willingness to bowl this year, but has only managed 1 over that went for 28.

What I want to see is one of these bottom-scraping teams go on an absolute tear in the remaining 4-5 games. Don't want either RCB or Mumbai doing it, so has to be on Bairstow and gang. Don't care if they lose, just bash 275+ in every outing.

I will also add some info on the most recent tour of the Caribbean by the English (we won 3-2). In one game, England made 267…which we got relatively close to, if we had 5 more wickets….we were bowled out for 192 in 15 overs.

The wickets are gonna be decent.

Also ran out Prabhsimran with a direct hit.

The only guy that tried to really have a go at him got out. They neutralized him by just playing him out. It was fortunate

Bairstow is most scary when he's had a lengthy run of bad form and everyone is questioning him. Now he'll go on a six month tear before reverting to his normal of being average. Rinse, repeat.
