Not a bad 24 hours or so for Godolphin this weekend - they won the Kentucky Oaks with the unbeaten filly Good Cheer, then had a 1-3-4 finish in the 2000 Guineas headed by Ruling Court, and then Sovereignty won the Kentucky Derby!

They might not be done yet either, with Desert Flower the favourite for the 1000 Guineas.
Bagged the lot, stunning weekend.

Won a fillies Group 2 as well with the very impressive Cinderella’s Dream who looks a sure fire future Group 1 winner.

Surprised by the relegation in the French Guineas. I don't think they would have changed the result in NZ/Aus.

I don't think they would've changed the result had a French horse won, they've got previous for this.

Having said that, I don't think it's a terrible decision and have seen plenty worse. She's been beaten a nose and was definitely impacted by the other one hanging.

That was a rough race. It was amazing the way Journalism regained his balance, moved through his gears and caught the leader in time. What a performance.

That was a quality day of racing in Brisbane today, although having an Oaks winner called You Wahng is going to take some getting used to.

Incredible effort by Joliestar to win the Kingsford Smith.

And Waikato Stud have got an exceptional stallion on their hands with Super Seth. From two crops of racing age, he's got four Group One winners - one in a 1400m two-year-old race in NZ, two in 1600m three-year-old races in Australia, and now a 2400m Derby winner in Queensland.

Really looking forward to Epsom and Belmont over the next 12 hours or so too. It's an unusually big Derby field at Epsom and seems particularly even too.

I happened to be there yesterday. Good day, although gee, other than Joliestar getting up, JMac had an average day, getting stuck wide on multiple horses. And yes, I'm talking through my pocket.
