My avatar is Neil Adcock (just felt there is an under appreciation for his career) and whilst Peter Pollock was one of our best quick bowlers (arguably our 2nd great fast bowler as whilst Heine was good I don't think he was a great) I would give it to Neil Adcock. Our first great fast bowler.

I'd go with Adcock as well, really the starting point of a great line of great fast bowlers, I've said in the past but I think the gold standard for pre 1970 Pacers should be performance against Australia/England/Carribean/South Africa and against Australia and England Adcock has better consistent performances than Pollock (not that Pollock wasn't sensational himself) by enough of a margin for me to ignore the differing conditions, close though, Pollock is a pretty underrated and a great bowler as well.
