South Africa just lucky at the moment that they are playing rank minnows who don't know how to finish. Overall SA aren't looking like top contenders for the WC.

That's not entirely accurate. To show exactly how close Nepal were it would need to be at the moment the ball hit the stumps, not after it had done so.

Cool story bro.

SA was suppose to lose to Sri Lanka according to people on here. So how can Sri Lanka be a minnow if they were suppose to easily beat SA ??

Ah look who liked the quoted comment, go figure 8-)

everything about it is wtf.
-are you allowed to bowl an above shoulder height bouncer in T20???
-why try and hit a 6 when you need 2?
-throws it straight at the batter
-batter just stops running for no reason at all, and almost waits for the fielder to throw down the stumps before putting his bat in the crease
This single delivery is in danger of breaking my brain.

hah yeah it's like he thought he was out by default once the deflection landed in Klaasen's hands. I'd be livid as a Nepali fan, minnow punching above weight or not.

Commentators (think it was Pollock) said he'd probably be done for obstruction or something as he ran in such a way to block the throw to the other end, so even if there was no run out Nepal would still have lost.

Doubt that was the reason for him slowing down though. Just brain dead cricket from Nepal those last couple of balls.

Or possibly he thought he was safe once the ball hit him and eased up, not realising where it had gone.

I don't think it would have counted as obstruction though as he didn't seem to change his running line.

With you on the 2nd point.

But he was looking right at the fielder. As Arac says, he just stopped running when it went in the fielder's hands. It's almost like he's thinking if he doesn't move, the fielder will forget he's there and not bother throwing the ball, and then tries to sneak home hoping the fielder won't notice.

He ran right down the middle and that's a big no no at any point in the game, also he knew a run out was in play given the match situation and where the throw would be coming from, finally he actually looked back and saw the throw coming from the keeper. Hard for him to argue that he didn't cause obstruction as he didn't know where the throw would coming in from.

Went to bed after Klaasen and Miller got out, thinking no way is SA going to win this. Seemed Hendriks run rate was too slow but so was Aaif Sheikh's. Can believe this morning the score. Won by one run!
