In the last 55 years, Tamil Iqbal has the 9th highest RPI of any batsman in away SENA+IND+SL tests (Min 1500 runs). Karunaratne is 4th from bottom on that list (112nd position) just ahead of Wasim, Boucher and Mudassar Nazar

Not Terrible
Garurumon is pretty decent but Tamim is more talented.

Fair to say his record suffers a bit from playing since he was about 12.
