He's one of one with regards to his skill set. He had an excellent technique, and could consistently take apart the very best pacers on helpful tracks. There's isn't another opener that we've seen who can do that.

And why do you like Hadlee, AT bowler and an above average no. 8. Barry was an AT opener and elite slip.

If I could build an opener in a lab the only difference I would make is that he would be left handed.

Oh, and have you ever watched him bat????

I would ask why, but can never tell when you're serious.

The most under rated aspect of cricket that we mostly ignore, is how much a bowler has to change his line, how the field has to change and tactics adjusted when you have to adjust when a right and left hander are opening together and they rotate the strike. Especially openers.

So no offence intended.

I find it offensive as a right handed cis white male in his 30’s.
