This is weird. I should make a thread about the phenomenon of Waqar's bowling, because I had him low on my post-war bowlers listing, but it has nothing to do with his peak bowling quality (arguably the best ever for mine), and everything to do with performance decline due to injury at the latter half of his career.

There was a brief time, where the two best (possible hyperbole, but in my mind at least), fastest and most promising bowlers in the world were Waqar and Ian Bishop.

Yea bishop had the potential to end up in the same tier as guys like Marshall and Ambrose
