To do a “fair” comparison of Grace with any more modern cricketer you have to use his FC record.

And in that case Grace wins against anyone not named Bradman hands down.

I generally don't involve Doctor Grace in All Time XIs/Lists because so much of his career downright precedes Test Cricket itself, but if he's put into a comparison on this forum, then I'm sorry but he's not losing to anyone not named Donald Bradman. That is simply how it works.
