Runoutput

Bradman (87) + Atherton (36) = 123 runs per inning.
Viv (47) + Hutton (50) = 97 runs per inning

not close. only time this can maybe be close is when the going gets tough for the batters, if the going is comfortable or easy then the gap would be huge.

Not close. You’d probably need a 19th century batsmen to get a close vote I reckon.

A few days ago I decided that it would befit my CW persona if I stopped rating Viv. So ever since, I haven't. I have come to the light. But honestly – was he anything more than a moderate upgrade on Mohammad Yousuf? No. Of course not.

tbh Everton Weekes is better than Viv too, Dunno how people like Viv, Sachin and Hobbs managed to get in CW top 5s.
