How big a gulf would you put between them as bowlers overall?
Can you clarify, sorry?as close as Pain vs Jiraiya
I think Anderson is a tier higher as a bowler, to the point it's not really close. Can you clarify, sorry?
It's recommended that you watch Naruto Shippuden episodes 129 through 133 to extract the full value of this analogy. Can you clarify, sorry?

One of the better battles in the Shippuden anime.
Highly rated and it's well animated but not one of my favourites.Kakashi vs Obito
Is definitely one of Coldest one Ever. Highly underrated imo.Highly rated and it's well animated but not one of my favourites.
I'd pretty much lost interest in the anime though by then because the ninja war arc just dragged on sooo long. So it's hurt from my investment pov. I prefer Sasuke vs Deidara, Sasuke vs Danzo, Shikamaru & Asuma vs Hiddan & Kakuzu, as well as the aforementioned Jiraya vs Pain. Sasori vs Sakura/Chiyo dragged at the start but had a couple of great episodes at the end too.
Why though? Not on overall stats. Longevity?I think Anderson is a tier higher as a bowler, to the point it's not really close.
Anyone else disappointed Jiraiya didn’t Edo at the end? Surely there was some of his DNA lying around somewhereHighly rated and it's well animated but not one of my favourites.

around 8-9 years into his career Botham was finished off by the rib injury in Australia in 1986, after that injury he became a Sunil Gavaskar speed bowler, he averaged 58 with the ball after that, before that he was averaging 27 with a great output of fifers. Anderson from 2010 onward after getting his action reworked was just a world class pacer for far too long for me to pick Beefy over him.Why though? Not on overall stats. Longevity?
First half of his career, Botham was taking well over 4WPM@23.around 8-9 years into his career Botham was finished off by the rib injury in Australia in 1986, after that injury he became a Sunil Gavaskar speed bowler, he averaged 58 with the ball after that, before that he was averaging 27 with a great output of fifers. Ummm..... Because Botham has that later career.First half of his career, Botham was taking well over 4WPM@23.
I don't see why you think there is a big gulf between them though. Even if Anderson is ahead on longevity.
tbf Anderson has that early careerUmmm..... Because Botham has that later career.
