Help regarding being offered the England job...

Does anyone know if when you are offered the England job whether you get to manage both the country and still be able to manage both the county side. I can't leave my Lancashire side and although I would love to take the national job a straight choice would see me having to turn the job down :-O :@

I enclose the awards screen from the season where I have had a decent season. Now I just don;t know what to do.

I also enclose some footage of the celebrations starting as Flintoff claims the last wicket of the season much to the delight of everyone concerned :D

Can anyone help or offer any advice?

thank-you all

you will be able to play as Lancs manager when their are no England fixtures. Computer will play Lancs matches for you when you are on International duty

Thanks imagine. I really don't know what to do now. I don't want to lose vital matches when the computer takes over.

I have copied my saved game where they offer me the job so I now have 2 saves. One where I can take the job and one where i can just stay at Lancashire.

Do you know how many gamy games I would miss for Lancashire if I take the job? or does it vary season to season depending on world cups, touring games and fixtures lined up etc?

If i was only going to miss 4 or 5 games it might be worth doing, yet if half the season was lost it would spoil the enjoyment somewhat.

Again thanks for your response

Just think of it as, when any of players get called up to play for england, You'll go with them...
As for losing games you need to win, You could always pick all the oppositions players....

Cheers Darkhunter.

I've taken the job and won my first series 2-1 in sri Lankia. I didn't realise that England were not so good on the game Sri Lankia were 2 stars better at bowling and 1 star better at batting but I still managed to topple them. However I disagree with the stars a bit :)

Harmison and Jones were dissapointing in the end Laraman was a star for me and Matt Hoggard turned out to be good as well. Tremlett took 4 wickets in 1 over as well :p

I drafted in a few of my Lancashire team knowing that the county season was over and they performed best, possibly because they have developed a winning mentality and improved their averages at county level over the last 3 years.

Nick Knight, Ramprakash, Ashton and Brown all surprise call ups to go with Flintoff and Anderson.

I still prefer the Lancashire job though :-O  :p :D
