Hiya guyz , does anyone knows the difference between cd version and box version of 2005/2006
I purchased the license of icc 2005 form childishthings and after re-installing it twice it does not allow me to reinstall anymore, is it same in cd version???

The download version has a limit on the number of installs to limit potential piracy (any code gets onto the net and the whole world can have the game for free). I cant remember how it works exactly, whether its 2 installs, or 2 installs on different PC's, i've formatted once and had to reinstall it, not sure if i can carry on doing that (i know of people who format once a month to keep the PC fresh and crispy), or it somehow logs the PC's its installed on...

Best bet is to email childish things and see what they say. If its legitimate reinstalls on the same PC they might be able to help.

That is the problem u c, u cannot install it even on your own pc for the third time. i was only wondering if its the same with cd version,
