Beside the body line series, Larwood lacks any claim to be considered a top tier bowler; Broad on the other hand has over 600 Test wickets..... Though if I make an English test squad, Larwood is more likely to make it than Broad.

Larwood took 1427 fc wickets at 17.51.

He was the best paceman of his era vs Broad who was one of the top 12-15 of his.

The question is Test bowler; taking 1st Class records into the discussion doesn't seems right when both had full fledged Test careers.....

And in 2020 CW voted Larwood at 28, Kapil at 41, and Broad at 53.

I only wonder about the results of a Larwood v Kapil v Broad poll now...

Larwood didn't play for England again after Bodyline.
Okay, saying Larwood had a full career isn't totally right; but understanding the level of batsmanship of the opponents he faced in County is really tough, and Larwood genuinely struggled with much consistency in Tests except the bodyline. By full career I meant he wasn't like Barry Richards or Mike Procter that we have to speculate his Test record by 1st Class; or like W G Grace or Ranjitsinhji; played in a time when 1st Class got more importance.
