Yeah understandable. I'd go for Barlow as he is a decent bowling option as well.
Would go for Goddard ahead of both of them in a SA XI, has that left arm pace variety, accurate, super economical, can create the pressure with a couple of maidens, hopefully resulting in wickets from the strike bowlers (aka Steyn/Donald, or even Pollock) in the next over.
