Lindwall. Both relatively struggled in the West Indies, Trueman’s subpar record in Australia really counts against him here. HTB with test spam

Trueman, just a superior wicket taker and transcended his era in that regard. Lindwall has better away achievements largely due to the conditions he was presented but I think Trueman was even better at home and both places were quite bowler friendly.

Trueman gets a bit too much flak over checklisting here.

Lindwall had the late start and later finish, started his test career in the continuation of the flattest test era and still managed to be seems as the greatest paver before Lillee.

His wpm was lower, but he always had more than decent competition for wickets.
