Some of these comparisons are pretty interesting. This being one of the best. Both equal on captaincy but I give Chappelli the advantage on his batting. He was great at 3 in a crisis and had more gears to his game. He could wear down an attack then play his cuts and hooks.

Jardine was clearly the better captain. Chappell probably the better batsman. Overall I would take Jardine.
