Two certified ATGs. But who is Australia's third best test bowler of all time?
Always the best way, otherwise you’re letting other people affect your initial opinion.I decided to vote before peeking, didn't expect 6- 0, but it's the right call.
WarneTwo certified ATGs. But who is Australia's third best test bowler of all time?
Warne > O'ReillyWarne
For the poll O’Reilly.
To be fair, he has O'Reilly in the GOAT argument.Warne > O'Reilly
I think that's fair, I rate O'Reilly higher than I used to as well... But not above Warne for me stillTo be fair, he has O'Reilly in the GOAT argument.
O’Reilly. Lillee doesn’t crack the top 5.Two certified ATGs. But who is Australia's third best test bowler of all time?
Lindwall and Davidson or Cummins?O’Reilly. Lillee doesn’t crack the top 5.
Lindwall and Davidson.Lindwall and Davidson or Cummins?
Lillee is in itBefore Warne took the throne, in Australia, who was rated as the best Australian bowler? has to be between these two and Lindwall right?
Also, I'd have loved to see Lillee bowl to actual 1960s England, maybe 67 Ashes where the lineup had Boycott/Edrich/Barrington/Cowdrey/Graveney or early 60s with Barrington/Cowdrey/Dexter or even 66-67 one with Boycott/Edrich/Cowdrey/Barrington.
Not really, No. Both Barnes and O'Reilly if anything had higher reputation when they retired and for years to follow, and like everyone else, Lillee's reputation mellowed out some by now as well.
I think Tiger was rated similarly at his time.
Lillee would average closer to 30. He legit does 27 to WI and 30 to Pak, the two teams with the best batting of his era he played regularly. Before Warne took the throne, in Australia, who was rated as the best Australian bowler? has to be between these two and Lindwall right?

Yeah that English batting is also very strong, imagine if Boycott and Barrington from both ends got going together lol, Lillee would die running in all day.Lillee would average closer to 30. He legit does 27 to WI and 30 to Pak, the two teams with the best batting of his era he played regularly.
I will personally argue Shane Warne has higher reputation minus India, not that Lillee has much rep in Asia in general, I think Warne would be rated above everywhere both him and Lillee played bar maybe West IndiesNo bowler came close to him in terms of reputation
