Chris Lynn and Colin Munro are interesting cases

Now I know they're not the only 2020 specialists going around(the plethora of WI all-rounders) but their t20 exploits are really something else with the bat. Munro's already got 3 international t20 tons which is crazy and Lynn has been unstoppable at times in the Big Bash. Liked look capable of hitting every other ball he faced for six

Yet these two really haven't done much in ODI cricket. Your think their style would translate reasonably well to this format well but it hasn't

What about them results in them only being able to destroy bowling attacks in t20s?

Oh **** I did a langer and mixed up Lynn's ODI record with his International t20 record. I see he's only played one ODI. Still weird his international t20 record is so crap though

Chris Lynn has a good FC record too. I'm more interested in how their t20 records are so much better than their List A records but didn't word it well

More license in T20. Mental. Different mindset. Different confidence level. Plenty of variations. Without being inside their heads when they play I can't be sure. International cricket is a higher standard than any domestic T20. Highly competitive sound cricketers will see their stats drop going from domestic to international. Other cricketers may step it up in internationals due to taking it more serious. There are too many variables to get to the bottom of it. Lynn doesn't have a bad T20 international record.

I just hope that Glenn Phillips doesn't become a T20 specialist. The kid is only 21 and could be something special

Easy to answer for Chris Lynn. He basically hasn't played List A cricket in 3-4 years (ie. since he became good). He's literally played like a handful of matches, if that.

Lynn I'm sure would be a great player at all levels if he didn't get injured so often. Injury has really held him back from playing the longer forms of the game.

Batting in the top 4 in T20 cricket is where you want to be as you can bet you won't get much time at 5/6. That is where most of the big T20 batting names bat.

Generally the mindset of batting in the top 4 in 50-over cricket is different. Obviously got to be positive but you got to be able to keep good deliveries out and structure an innings.

Also don't think T20 hitters can necessarily walk in at 5/6 in 50-over cricket and hit the ball out the ground like they do in T20. Different game situations etc
