On on field achievements, it's clearly Chandrasekhar, especially in Tests its a no contest. If we are counting off field contributions and overall social impact, you can go either way as I don't know how to weigh them.

Chandrasekhar had the more accomplished test career. Have decided to back Constantine though for slightly more subjective reasons. Big fan of the cultural impact surrounding his career and life, he was also clearly a talented and exciting cricketer.

BS Chandrasekhar will always be special for Indian cricket. He took 5-Fers in Australia, England, NewZealand and WestIndies.

BS Chandrasekhar’s spell of 6-38 at Oval helped India win their first test match and series in English soil in perhaps our greatest moment.

BS Chandrasekhar took 6-52 and 6-52 to take 12 wickets at Melbourne to help India win it’s first test in Australian soil.
