Wasim, Waqar, Saqlain, Mushtaq Ahmed vs Bumrah, Shami, Ashwin, Jadeja

McGrath, Gillespie, Warne, Lee vs Trueman, Stratham, Tyson, Laker

Lillee, Thommo, Dymock, Mallett vs Starc, Hazelwood, Cummins, Lyon

Boult, Wagner, Southee, Patel vs Flintoff, Harmison, Hoggard, Giles

Steyn, Philander, Morkel, Tahir vs Lindwall, Miller, Johnson, Johnston

Bumrah and co because they got success everywhere except nz ( don't know about Wasim and Co)

McGrath and co only because of McGrath

Wasim, Waqar, Saqlain and Mushtaq for now just, but can go anyway. Pakistan have the better pacers, India spinners. Think the distance among spinners is bigger, but pacers just more valuable to pull this. Hopefully after England.

McGrath, Warne, Gillespie and Lee unless it's 50s England easily. McWarne is significantly better than TrueLaker (thank me later). Tyson and Lee's gap closes it quite, but think Statham Gillespie are close enough, and main duo important enough, to seize this.

Cummins, Hazlewood, Starc, Lyon quite comfortably here. Think Lillee and Cummins is close. Thomson and Hazlewood, Mallett and Lyon, and Dymock and Starc are not.

Boult, Wagner, Southee and Patel and it's not close over career.

Lindwall, Miller, Johnston and Johnson. Steyn is much better than Lindwall, but Miller over Philander and Johnston over Morkel pulls them through. Johnson was a Test standard spinner, Tahir wasn't.

I think the Invincibles attack is more quality through and through
Steyn is the X factor that pulls it for me. Most everyone else in the sides were relatively low impact. Even at his best Lindwall was taking a tad over 4WPM. I agree though that Johnson is clearly better than Tahir and the talent is more evenly spread. Just think the impact of Steyn slightly shades this over for me. Very close though.
Steyn and co > McGrath and co

McGrath is slightly better than steyn
But philander is way better than lee and giliespie in Sena conditions.

Oh i didn't notice warne's presence.
Without Warne steyn and co
But with warne no comparison.

Johnston is also much better than Morkel imo.

The combination of Wasim and Waqar is generally too much, especially if it's early 90s then that is just insane.

The Australians on good wickets, the English on spicier wickets, overall the Australians as Statham would be ~ Gillespie or inferior on flatter wickets, Laker is a finger spinner so he'd struggle generally and McGrath is plain better than Trueman on flat wickets. On spicy wickets, both sides would be a force.

New Australians, Lyon is better than Mallet, Cummins/Haze duo beats out Lillian Thompson, most importantly the new ones are a lot more durable than especially Thommo. Starc vs Dymock is whatever.

The Kiwis, they are just.... better bowlers?

The Invincibles, They have a competent spinner in Johnson while Tahir is a clear weak link and would get targetted to Kingdom come, Johnston is a 22~ averaging bowler so obviously a league above Morkel, Miller over Vernon for me, much more pace and good short pitched bowling for flat wickets. All that easily makes up for the gap between Lindwall and Steyn.
